First morning: a northern shore
Choose a walk along an appropriate section around Marsalforn, Qbajjar and Xwejni, with a clear turnaround point. You do not need to reach the farthest coastal feature for the outing to be worthwhile. Notice how the settled bay gives way to salt pans and open shore. Finish near a transport connection and keep the afternoon free for whatever your group needs.
Second morning: a western landscape
Dedicate the next morning to Dwejra or another clearly chosen western viewpoint. Read the current visitor information and stay within permitted areas. Give yourself time to look rather than treating the stop as a photograph taken from the car. Leave boat trips or additional walks as optional decisions, and avoid relying on them to make the morning feel complete.
Third morning: a different kind of place
Choose a valley, a village-edge viewpoint or a southeastern cove for contrast. Lunzjata offers a different landscape from an exposed sea cliff, while the Qala area looks towards the channel. Match the selection to current access and the group’s mobility. This outline deliberately leaves afternoons uncommitted, allowing rest, cultural visits or a rearranged outing if conditions have changed.
The useful details.
- Set a turnaround point for each morning.
- Choose contrasting landscapes across the three days.
